18-May-2005 - A presentation of the project and developed teaching materials delivered in University of Rousse, Technical University of Varna and Varna Free University, Technical University of Sofia, Technical University of Sofia, Branch Plovdiv, University of Plovdiv, Bourgas Free University.
10-October-2005 - The first volume of the book "Programming for .NET Framework" is released
1-October-2006 - The course "Programming for the .NET Framework 2.0" started in Sofia University
19-December-2006 - The second volume of the book "Programming for .NET Framework" is released
The project is intended to create a set of teaching materials (courseware) in Bulgarian language for a course on "Programming for Microsoft .NET Framework with the C# Language". The materials consist of presentations, demonstrations, exercises and a textbook and will be freely available for download and for teaching courses in the Bulgarian universities.
The project is performed by Svetlin Nakov and his team in the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" with the strong support of the Bulgarian Association of Software Developers and Microsoft Research.
The project includes teaching the course in the Bachelor program for the "Informatics" specialty in the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" as well as in Master programs (see the Web site of the course "Programming for .NET Framework"). The course was attended by 250 students in 2004/2005.
